Sagging breasts

Question

I am six months pregnant and would like to breastfeed. Now I hear from friends to slacken by breastfeeding your breasts and hang. I would actually prefer to avoid; Is that possible?

Answer

A somewhat disappointing answer: it slacken your breasts is unavoidable. You relax breasts due to hormonal changes in your body during pregnancy. Breastfeeding has little effect on them. Women who do not breastfeed have softer breasts after pregnancy than before.
During pregnancy, the glandular tissue in your breasts develop under the influence of hormones. This is done in preparation for milk production after childbirth. Many women notice this, because the breasts may feel sore or strained during pregnancy. May also increase the bust size.
After giving birth creates - if you are breastfeeding or not - at around the third day trim. At that moment there was a large influx of blood and lymph fluid place in the glandular tissue in the breasts. Many women experience these days their breasts as large and painful.
If you are not breastfeeding, or if you stop feeding after some time, the tissue will shrink. Often there is some fat disappeared. This makes the breasts feel soft and flabby. After a few menstrual cycles will increase the firmness of your breasts again. Also forms after some time new adipose tissue, which is what fills the breasts again. For most women, the breasts will after stopping breastfeeding receive approximately the same size as before pregnancy.
You can do something yourself to make your breasts firmer, namely breast enhancing exercises:
  • Place your hands vertically against each other, your chest, your elbows facing out. Press your hands together for one second and then relax for a second. Repeat ten times, both morning and evening.
  • Stretch your arms out sideways and then make a right angle with your forearms up. Bring your arms in that position to your chest, as if pushing something towards the center. This exercise can be done standing or lying down, with or without weights.
